Mavrose 2023 from T-Oinos Winery is a very special rosé made from Mavrotragano and Avgoustiatis grapes, grown on the enchanting island of Tinos. It’s one of the first rosés to sell out every year! A bright balance of red fruit and citrusy acidity makes it perfect with every summer dish.
T-Oinos was the first winery to put Tinos on the wine map, established in 2002 in Falatados. It was the first to plant Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Mavrotragano, and Avgoustiatis on the island. From its first bottling, the wines showed promise — and now they sell out instantly.
Mavrose 2023 may be the best-selling Cycladic rosé. Grapes come from Sparveri and Agios Dimitrios vineyards (400m altitude). The blend is 80% Avgoustiatis and 20% Mavrotragano, fermented in stainless steel with wild yeasts, and aged on fine lees for 3 months.
Fruity, expressive, crisp, and slightly creamy — it’s perfect with a rich shrimp pasta!
