For this rum, La Maison du Rhum turned to Hacienda Coloma which, in addition to the fine coffee it produces, also has a distillery to produce excellent quality rum. It is a traditional old rum distilled from molasses. It has aged for 10 years in Bourbon barrels with a finish in former coffee liqueur barrels.
A rum that is expressed in notes of exotic fruits, coffee, and fruit compote on the nose while in the mouth it is soft, with a silky and generous texture and aromas of honey, pineapple jam, and oak notes. Balanced, with a pleasant lively finish of tropical fruits
