They are the masters of biodynamic cultivation in Greece, with true passion for natural wines and the absolute expression of their terroir. We are talking about Tatsis brothers, of course. Pericles and Stergios Tatsis are the third winemaking generation of the family, and continue to respect the tradition of their grandparents' home, East Romylia.
If you want to impress your friends with a blend of intensity, aromatic complexity and amazing length, Angel's Peak 2017 is probably one of the best choices you can make.
Angel's Peak 2017 from domaine Tatsis is a blend of Malagouzia and Chardonnay, which are grown on the hill of Limpaskerit, which means' the hill where the angels live', just outside Goumenissa. Organic farming, low yields per hectare and minimal intervention lay the foundations. Varieties are vinified separately, and mature on their fine lees with tactical batonnage, before further oak maturation which lasts for a few months. After all, they are blended, and remain together in the bottle for a short period of time.
Limited quantities make Angel's Peak White 2017 one of the most hard-to-find whites and a must for your wine cellar. And dont rush to open it. It can wait for you for at least five years. Can you?
