Winemakers with passion and passion, started a "Mad" project in 2009, with the aim of highlighting the entire region of Tokaj. It is one of the oldest wine producing regions in Europe, with many different styles of wine, from dry to the world's most famous sweet wines! The particularity is found in the volcanic soils, which give the ultimate expression of minerality. MAD understood very early on that cooperation with local producers was necessary. And they did just that. The local winegrowers entrusted the care of their vineyards, from "top to toe", to the MAD team, which's eventually became her favorite hobby and the result was unique!
MAD Dry by Tokaj was made mainly from Tokaj's traditional variety, called Furmint, while a small percentage of highly aromatic local varieties were added to enhance its aromatic character. These are Hárslevelű and Sárgamuskotály, but don't bother pronouncing them! MAD Dry by Tokaj was harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts.
