Why do we love it?
Paralia Foivos Papastratis is a wine that carries in it, walks in island alleys with flowering jasmines, which end at the sea, just before sunset. Yes, you got it right, this is an oasis in the heart of winter and the ultimate escape from the boring everyday life!
Foivos Papastratis is one of the most promising wine talents in Greece. Having practically grown up into wine and had started making wines before he even got his degree from the Department of Oenology and Beverage Technology, his course seems to be brilliant. The grapes come from privately owned vineyards in Lilandio Pedio, which he deals with constantly and with passion. The area has a huge viticultural tradition and Foivos is a worthy successor. Muscat and Assyrtiko are perfectly acclimatized and every year they give better and better fruit!
For the Paralia, mild vinification methods are followed and a prolonged stay of the wine with its fine wine lees. The result manages to masterfully combine the aromatic character of Muscat with the dense structure of Assyrtiko. The cute label is practically an old painting of Foivos when he was still a child and dreamed of playing by the sea and under the sun.
Do not waste any time and try it now!
