Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicolás Catena, together with Alejandro Vigil, chief winemaker of Catena Zapata Winery, made the big bang by creating a miracle. Gran Enemigo Single Vineyard Gualtallary is a big red wine from the Cabernet Franc variety, with a small percentage of Malbec, in honor of the old Pomerol winemaking style, where Cabernet Franc was blended with other Bordeaux varieties.
Bodega Aleanna’s sensational Gran Enemigo Single Vineyard Gualtallary has a fanatical audience all over the world, but only a few ever get the chance to taste it. From its first vintage until today, wine critics, such as Robert Parker and James Suckling, almost compete for who will award it the highest score.
On Tuesday, March 4, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in an 11-year vertical tasting, featuring 100-point vintages and award-winning wines that have made history.
The tasting will include 11 vintages of GRAN ENEMIGO “GUALTALLARY” - EL ENEMIGO, from 2010 to 2020!
The winemaker’s grandfather’s advice was to create wines with the finesse of Burgundy, whether consumed fresh or after many years of aging! Oh, and of course—they should pair perfectly with Jamón Ibérico!
