DOMAINE CAMILLE BRAUN
The Braun family has its roots in Alsace since 1523 and has been producing wine in the village of Orschwihr since 1902. Today, Domaine Camille Braun consists of 13 hectares of vineyards in and near Orschwihr, including the great and famous Grand Cru Pfingstberg, and also other historic single vineyards (Bollenberg, Lippelsberg, Effenberg, and Meissenberg) in which the cultivate the varieties Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc/Auxerrois, Pinot Noir, Sylvaner and Muscat. Under the careful care of Christophe and Chantal Braun, farming has been organic for the past 15 years and biodynamic since 2005. The result of this work has won many awards, including the 2000 Concours National Excellence Award for the consistent quality of all their wines.
