De Mena in Catalan means "by nature" and indeed this reflects exactly the beautiful wines created by Domaine De Mena's Sébastien Agelet. The wine heritage has a long tradition in the Sébastien family, as it counts three generations back that all have worked with vineyards around Paziols in the heart of the Pyrenees. Keeping his family tradition in mind and with the desire to create his own, Sébastien decided to separate the family vineyards from the local cooperative and follow his own path. A natural path, and so Domaine De Mena was born. Within the first two years of its creation, Domaine De Mena managed to stand out and everyone agrees that it makes some of the most exciting natural wines in all of France.
