Kir Yianni estate was founded in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris, one of the distinct forms of the Greek winery, when he left the family winemaking company that his grandfather had created in 1879. The philosophy of the estate follows the principles of integrated management to protect the environment as a valuable component of a culture that is currently threatened.
