The winery founded in 1756, in the Pfalz region of Germany, by the name Villa Wolf. Ernst Loosen, of Dr. Loosen winery, took over the vineyard in 1996, embarking on a dramatic recovery in the quality and reputation of the estate. Since 2011, the estate has been run by a talented and dedicated young team that had previously worked with Dr. Loosen. Sumi Gebauer and Patrick Möllendorf have revamped the style of the wine and the winery and focus on creating high quality wines, equivalent to the brilliant history of the estate.
