Andreas Kontozisis and Aphrodite Tousia pioneered, highlighting their place and its terroir, using only organic cultivation. Limniona responded with a calmer and rounder profile, which you will enjoy furiously all summer long!
The Kontozisis winery, located in Karditsa, Thessaly, was founded in 1991 and until today blindly defends the use of zero chemicals in the vineyard and in production, which leads to the bottling of completely natural wines. The harvest is done only by hand, the yields of the vines are extremely low, free run juice is always used, and the yeasts are only indigenous. Nature seems to particularly favor them, since in the end the quality of the fruit is unique and their wines simply sensational. They were the first to receive organic certification, while their wines made a splash in the United States.
By Soft Nails is a red wine from the Limniona variety and fermented in concrete eggs which gave it a more earthy and velvety profile. It was bottled unfiltered and its balanced and rich aromatic character made it particularly enjoyable.
It's Vegan, it's Vegetarian and it's one of the reds that you'll enjoy slightly chilled all summer long!
