When you make charming wines with the same frequency, then your success is a given! By the term Suxnotita, we express the number of repetitions of an action or an event in the unit of time. We use it to characterize any natural quantity that repeats the same values at regular intervals. If we now define wine as the natural quantity, absolute success as value, and a period of time over the last 5 years, we end up with our first sentence. Or if you're not much of an exact science person, Julia has made an awesome wine again!
The talented young lady has started spoiling us! New varieties and new experiments keep well. It seems that Julia Druva, who made her debut with the "Finikas" wine series, has made her way to the top and is not stopping anywhere!
For Suxnotita, Refosco (70%) and Agiorgitiko (30%) from the family's privately owned vineyards in Agios Georgios Pyrgos Ilia, were harvested manually at the right time, so that each variety reaches its best ripeness. The two varieties were vinified separately, for 4 months in stainless tanks. The precious juice became a blend and remained for another 10 months in French oak barrels.
The result is robust and spicy and is here to underline that the future of Greek wine is in very good hands!
We enjoyed it while it was still fresh, but if you're patient, time will take its toll!
