Melenia rosé Koukos Winery will change your worldview for semi-sweet wines. Just by hearing its name Melenia, you understand that Panagiotis Koukos did his magic again, creating a new and playful semi sweet wine dressed in pink.
The brothers, Panagiotis and Kostas decided to innovate by creating their small but promising winery, located in Strofilia, just 35 km southwest of Patras. Their course began in the late 90's. With slow but steady steps they evolve every year and do not stop surprising us. In their range there are different styles and labels, one of them is Melenia rosé which consists of two varieties, Merlot and Muscat of Rio. For Melenia rosé Koukos Winery, the must remained in contact with the skins for 24 hours in order to get as strong aromas and rich taste as possible. Before the end of the fermentation, the wine freezes and thus retains as much sweetness as it needs to gain impressions from the very first sip.
