Noughty Rose is a magical combination of the beloved Provence style, with the intensely aromatic notes of varieties from South Africa. And all this, with the least possible alcohol!
Amanda Thomson's company's innovation lies in offsetting the carbon footprint for each market, supporting sustainability, and protecting the planet. Her wines, as well as the innovative method of removing alcohol, have been awarded and recognized worldwide, as a result of which they are on very important restaurant lists around the world.
Noughty Rose uses 99% Chenin Blanc and 1% Pinotage grapes, which come from dry vineyards in the Western Cape. The cool winds from the Atlantic Ocean and the cold Benguela current create ideal conditions for ripening and preserving the aromas of the grapes. After fermentation for 14 days, the juice and grapes undergo a reduction treatment to preserve the intensely fruity flavor. The 2-month stay with the lees adds volume, while the subsequent removal of alcohol under vacuum conditions results in absolute guilt-free enjoyment!
Try it, you won't believe it!
