Clase Azul Plata is the purest version of the entire Clase Azul series and is the groundwork for producing all the others. It comes from the blue agave grown in Los Altos de Jalisco, where the characteristic reddish soil of the region and the climatic conditions give a distinct character to the plant. The Master Distiller puts all his mastery, not for something complicated, but to capture the truest and unprocessed pure taste of the blue agave in tequila. And this is perhaps the most difficult task!
Clase Azul Plata is slowly cooked in traditional ovens for 72 hours and bottled without any aging, in a transparent and very elegant bottle, which prepares you for the crystalline content and the purity of the flavors.
In the glass, it is clear and crystalline with silver highlights. Fresh aromas of orange, lemon, citrus, and lime oils. Botanical aromas of spearmint and peppermint enhance freshness, while subtle notes of vanilla create a balance. It has a light body, with aromas of green apple, lemon, and mint and notes of tropical fruit and green tea that linger in the aftertaste.
