There are wines that change the way you see a variety or even an entire region. Mantineia Tselepos Winery is clearly one of them.

Giannis Tselepos, the master of the genre, has been dealing with his favorite white variety, Moschofilero, since the beginning of his career. Wine lees, cold extractions and impeccable technical management give Moschofilero a completely different attitude from the one you are used to. Crystalline acidity, roses, citrus and notes of dough compose one of the most classic expressions of Mantineia.

Tastes Like

Mantineia Tselepos Winery has pale lemon color and intense floral aromas, mainly jasmine, hyacinth, rose and lemon blossom complemented by citrus, pear and citron.

In the mouth it has medium (-) body and crisp acidity. The aromas of citrus, Turkish delight and flowers are even more intense and distinct in the mouth.

Excellent pairing with green salad with orange fillets and cheese balls, spinach risotto with lemon, marinated red mullet 

Tabbouleh salad

  • 1 cup of couscous
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • juice of a lemon
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsps chopped fresh mint
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, cut into cubes
  • 3 fresh onions, finely chopped

Heat water, after salting it first,  in a medium-sized pot and leave it to boil. Add the couscous and leave to moderate heat for 7 to 8 minutes. Drain the couscous and let it cool down. In the meantime, in a small bowl, mix lemon juice with olive oil. Add salt and pepper.

In a large bowl, mix couscous, parsley, coriander, mint, tomatoes and onions. Add the mixture of lemon juice and olive oil and salt and pepper. Leave it for about 20 minutes before serving to marinate.
