Trying new wines and especially blends is our "Achilles heel". And if it's about collaborations of people from the wider wine field, that's where the bets fall! No1 - Terra Apeira belongs to this category and we confidently tell you that if you don't bet on it, you will lose.
The moral authors are 3 people who have the common denominator of the wine and the numerator of their different relationships with it! Dimitris Tzakos oenologist and winemaker, Michalis Papatsimbas fanatical oenophile, and the oenologist "mountaineer" of Aegialia and owner of "Akriotou Microwinery", decided to wander together in the vineyards of Plataea in Voiotia and create the Terra Apeira series, the beginning of a wider plan of vine-wine exploration of the regions and varieties of our country. The terroirs are infinite and this is exactly what its name indicates. Together, they dared to make many experimental vinifications with different blends of grapes and from completely different vineyards but bottled only those that stood out for the purity of expression of the grapes used.
No1 - Terra Apeira comprises 55% Malagouzia, 35% Assyrtiko, and 10% Muscat and is as aromatic as it sounds. Full of freshness, juicy fruit, and floral aromas, you will immediately recognize on the nose. But don't rest, because the Assyrtiko storm that follows is no joke! The delightful blend is further enhanced by its slightly oily feel since it stays in contact with its lees for almost 45 days.
Of course, you will appreciate it even more when you discover that you just got an ace up your sleeve in food pairings!
