On Wednesday, February 19th, you will be able to taste unique wines from a winery that you will not find anywhere else in the world! It is the first winery in Mendoza to make wines from its biodynamic vineyards!
The reason for this is the Bodegas Krontiras winery located in Mendoza, Argentina. Two Greeks, Konstantinos Krontiras and oenologist, Panos Zoumboulis, turned their passion for good wine into a very successful venture. Konstantinos' wife, Silvina, originally from Argentina, designed a jewel-like winery, based on the principles of biodynamic cultivation, while in 2012 they also received Demeter certification.
Panos Zoumboulis, a proponent of organic and biodynamic cultivation, put his vast experience into practice and took over the supervision of the vineyard and production, resulting in great wines that reflect the terroir and the character of each variety.
On Wednesday, February 19, Panos Zoumboulis, consulting oenologist in Greece and abroad, and Aris Sklavenitis, certified Sommelier by the World Sommeliers Association, and best Greek Sommelier in the years 2016, 2019, 2023, will make a special presentation of the following:
