Balatsouras Winery is located near the prefecture of Fokida and was founded by George Balatsouras, who fell in love with wine while doing his master's degree in criminology at Montpellier. Since then, not only produces wines with an organic and natural approach but has saved the rare local variety "Kosmas" from an old vineyard. Other varieties are Roditis and Malagouzia.
