In the prefecture of Achaia and 35km southwest of Patras, is the family-owned Koukos winery, one of the rising wineries in Greece, and which relies exclusively on the production and bottling of wine from the privately owned vineyards of the family that cultivate themselves with personal care and diligence. Exclusively organic and the varieties grown are Roditis, Sideritis, Fileri, Assyrtiko, Agiorgitiko, and the international Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
